Winter Bible Study The Gospel of Luke

Winter Bible Study The Gospel of Luke

Join us Mondays 7:00-8:00am, or 9:15-10:15am (Women’s) beginning January 26 to read The Gospel of Luke, a must in a strong Christian Education. Layered with meaning in masterful poetics and prose, the narrative takes us through the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Many of our best-loved parables come uniquely from Luke, like The Good Samaritan and The Prodigal Son. It is part of a two-volume work that includes the Acts of the Apostles (we’ll take that up in spring), which chronicles the movement of the early church. Our study of Luke will take us through Lent and end with the crucifixion and resurrection stories just before Easter. All are welcome to participate. It is the variety of experiences and backgrounds that make the studies interesting. Zoom links are available. Contact Marianna Kilbride at marianna@godsacre.org.
