The Rev. Dr. Stephen Chapin Garner

Chapin is a native New Yorker, having grown up over the border from New Canaan in Westchester County. His greatest passions in life are being a husband, father, and pastor.
 
Chapin is a graduate of Boston University School of Theology and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has served as a pastor at the Village Church in Wellesley, MA, and the United Church of Christ in Norwell, MA.
 
Chapin has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Alban Institute, an adjunct faculty member in homiletics at Boston University School of Theology and General Theological Seminary, and a resident preacher at the Church at Point O’Woods on Fire Island and the Cuttyhunk Community Church in Gosnold, MA.  Chapin leads the Raymond Preaching Fellowship program for churches in Connecticut.
