Read: Exodus 34:29–35

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face was shining, and they were afraid to come near him. Exodus 34:30

After speaking and interacting with God, Moses looked different to those who saw him. He was radiant. He shined. Something of the light and life of God shown through him.

There really is a glow that accompanies the lives of people who attempt to make time for God. Time spent in prayer, time spent in spiritual reading, time spend in worship has a way of transforming and enlightening people. There are times when you can just look at someone who seems aglow with the presence, or perhaps peace, of God. When we attempt to spend time in the presence of God, it stands to reason that something of God’s presence should rub off on us. It did for Moses.

Have you seen someone who appears to shine with the Spirit of God?

Lord, light up my life. Allow Your presence to fill my person. Help me to look different as a result of being made different through Your grace and love. I will try to find a way into Your presence so that part of You can rub off and travel with me. In Jesusname, I pray. AMEN.
