Shean-Mei Sheu joined the staff of the Church in June 2021. She holds an MBA, CMA®, CMC® and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is also a certified Medicare Counselor and has volunteered her service at the Town of New Canaan.
Shean-Mei comes to the Church with a few decades of experience as a finance and accounting executive at two great multi-billion-dollar companies – Reader’s Digest and IBM. During her IBM career, she held various finance management positions to develop budgets, forecasts, and managed revenue, cost and expense performance. Prior to IBM, she was the Assistant Controller at Reader’s Digest Corporation and responsible for the General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Cash Operations.
Her responsibilities as the Director of Finance for the Church include all financial management aspects of the Church and improve / maintain a robust set of internal controls.
Shean-Mei lives in New Canaan with her husband, Alan, and their poodle, Etro, who is a certified therapy dog.
