Sam joined the church staff in 2021 as YG advisor and the Administrative Assistant for Youth Ministries. He graduated this past spring from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Political Science. During his time at Santa Clara, he was an active member of Santa Clara Young Life and a Young Advisor for middle school students in the Silicon Valley area. After moving with his family to New Canaan his sophomore year of high school, he quickly became a part of YG at our church, and in total, has served on three Mission Trips as a YGer, three Quest Trips, and one Mission Trip as alumni. Sam credits the ease of his entry into New Canaan to the love and support he received from YG.
Currently, Sam is excited to have the opportunity to support and lead current YGers through their faith journeys, and to be working with both Erik and Kelly on providing a loving and inclusive environment for all involved in youth programs here at the church.
