Claire Carbonier

Claire Carbonier has been a member of the Congregational Church of New Canaan for over 35 years and now joins the staff as our Youth Program Coordinator. Claire grew up in New Canaan, graduating from New Canaan High School and then attending Bucknell University, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology and Spanish. She then received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Fairfield University. She spent most of her professional career in Human Resources.

Claire and her husband, Roger, joined the church together in 2005. For most of the last 16 years, she has enjoyed being a full time stay at home mom to her two children, Ashley and Jackson, and volunteering in many different ways within their school communities. She is excited to now be a part of the Youth Group team at The Congregational Church and support all of its programming. While she’s not at the church, she is also a Two’s teacher at a pre-school in Wilton, where her family resides.

In her spare time, Claire most loves to spend time with her husband of 22 years, two children and dog Ryder. She enjoys fitness, running, being outdoors, watching her children play sports, and spending as much time as she can with her 2 year old niece Harper.
