Church Front Circle
Summer is the slowest time for shelter pantry donations, please help Open Door fill their shelves for neighbors in need. Bring your non-perishable items to church on Sunday, June 26, for the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk. Come to the church circle between 9:30am-12:00pm and drop the items in the trunks of the designated cars. If possible please bring in reusable bags and thank you for donating!
The most needed items are:
- rice (preferably 2lb bags)
- dried beans (red or black)
- canned beans (red or black)
- canned chicken
- spaghetti sauce
- peanut butter
- jelly (grape or strawberry)
- breakfast cereal
- spices
- coffee
Low sodium and sugar free versions of anything listed would be a particularly big help!
