Tighe joined the Congregational Church of New Canaan as Youth Director in March 2026, bringing a passion for mentorship, faith, and community. A New Canaan native and 2025 graduate of Hamilton College, he majored in Public Policy with minors in Environmental Studies and American Studies. A two-sport athlete in football and lacrosse, Tighe brings leadership, energy, and teamwork to every space he enters.
During college, he interned with a nonprofit behavioral health and addiction treatment provider and later with a mission-driven dog food company focused on sustainability and wellness. These experiences, combined with his deep commitment to service, shape his approach to nurturing faith and fellowship among the youth at God’s Acre. When he’s not on the field or at church, Tighe enjoys coaching, spending time outdoors, grilling, and connecting with others who share in the joy of giving back.
