The Preschool on God’s Acre

The Preschool on God’s Acre’s Philosophy

At the Preschool on God’s Acre (“PSGA”), our mission is to nurture the whole child-in body, mind, and spirit-through values-based learning experience. Guided by an emergent curriculum, we aim to foster curiosity and growth through developmentally appropriate, child-led learning experiences, prioritizing joyful exploration through play.

We embrace a comprehensive approach to early childhood education that recognizes the importance of social-emotional development alongside academic learning. Through play, we provide opportunities for children to explore their interests, engage with peers, and cultivate a positive sense of self. Our experienced and dedicated staff follow and adhere to the Connecticut Early Learning Standards in creating and implementing curriculum and assessments.
