Kimmie Dyrvik

Kimmie Dyrvik has been involved in church throughout her youth and adult life, where she was an active participant of all youth programming and has continued her involvement in her adult life. A native of New Canaan, Kimmie graduated from New Canaan High School in 2017. She then attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina where she studied education and environmental studies.

Kimmie graduated in 2021 and moved to Manhattan where she started her three-year journey as head teacher for a special education preschool classroom in the Bronx. She completed her dual certification master’s degree in birth to second grade teaching and continued in the classroom for a third year. She now works at a nonprofit, INCLUDEnyc, which serves families of students with disabilities throughout all five boroughs of NYC. She is passionate about the importance of youth education and is blessed to work with youth of all ages throughout her career.

Kimmie has served as a YG advisor for the past five years and is excited about the potential to work amongst the other ages in our youth programming. She is looking forward to leading YG for another year, and is grateful for the opportunity to continue her work in the New Canaan community.
