Kent is an ordained UCC Minister who has served in all the settings of the United Church of Christ. He was a local church pastor in Brookfield and North Guilford. He was a Regional Minister for the historic Connecticut Conference. He served as the Conference Minister in Florida and in Connecticut. He was instrumental in helping to form the Southern New England Conference (bringing together Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island) into a single Conference. In the National setting, he served as the Director of Philanthropy.
Kent is a graduate of Nasson College and Yale Divinity School. He is married to Laura, a former New Canaan resident, and they have two adult children. Kent and Laura are blessed to have three granddaughters (ask him to show you pictures!). He resides in Stamford, his native city. Kent enjoys golf, being with friends and family, and watching sports.
