Church School is Back!
Classes will be offered for children ages 3 through Grade 7 during the 10:00am worship service along with nursery care for age 2 and under during both 8:00am and 10:00am services. Click here to register your child today!
Confirmation Discernment Meeting
Potential Confirmands and their parents are invited to a Discernment Meeting on Wednesday, October 6 (*new date*) at 7:00pm. This meeting will include the MSYG parent meeting as well as a detailed outline of our confirmation process. Classes will begin on October 13.

The Children’s Music Program is still accepting registration for all groups! Spirit Singers (Grades 1-4) will be featured on October 17 and 24 during the 10:00am Worship Services, and Joyful Noise (Grades 5-8) is currently working on learning their favorite Church Songs as the new Junior Worship Team. Nurturing Nest: Mommy & Me – Music, Bible Stories, and Play
The Lord shall feed his flock like a shepherd: the Lord shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
The Congregational Church of New Canaan will offer programs for very young children designed to facilitate their spiritual nurture and understanding. This Christian Mommy and Me program, lovingly called “Nurturing Nest” will feature age-appropriate music, Bible Stories and interactive play around a monthly theme (love, joy, peace, etc). Acting Associate Minister to Children, Youth, and Families the Rev. Kibbie Laird says, “Many of the families who have moved to town during Covid have very young children and are looking to meet other young families and find a spiritual home.”
The Congregational Church welcomes both members and prospective members wherever they are on their faith journey and wants to offer a safe space for young children and their parents to gather weekly and explore our Christian faith together. If you are looking for connection, and a place for your children to explore their faith, we hope you will come to God’s Acre.
In lieu of an admission fee, the Congregational Church hopes each family will consider supporting one of our monthly mission partners, showing their children from an early age what it means “to love our neighbors.”

All Children must be accompanied by their parent. The classes will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, and limited to 12 children each class.
