Jemuel (known as Jem) has been part of the church community since September 2023 as a YG advisor. Since then, he has worked with Minnows, Guppies, JYG, and MSYG and is excited to become the new Youth Director.
As a member of the Class of 2017 at Fairfield Prep and a graduate of St. Johns with a B.S. in Biology, Jemuel brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to his role. His educational journey has not only equipped him with the necessary skills but has also ignited a passion for community service and a strong relationship with God. He has led numerous retreats, served as a student government member, and currently holds the position of Vice President for the Youth Ministries at French-speaking Baptist Church in Norwalk.
Jem has extensive experience working with youth. He has worked at Side By Side Charter School for three years, one year as a Paraprofessional, and two years as an Assistant Science Teacher. He has also worked at the Carver Program as a Summer Camp counselor for 10-13 Boys, After-Camp Coordinator, and 7-9 Boys Supervisor for two years. He was also involved in the After-School Program at Side By Side.
Jem is looking forward to this new opportunity and helping the youth build their relationship with God by strengthening their faith as a group.
