Beth has been a New Canaan resident and Church member for over 30 years. She grew up in West Hartford and attended St. Lawrence University and Thunderbird School of Global Management. She is fluent in Spanish and loves cooking, golf, and walking in the woods.
Beth was a private banker in New York before she and her husband Todd moved to Connecticut. While raising their three children, she was active in their schools’ parent associations and served as a trustee at the New Canaan Nature Center and Westminster School. At our Church she served as a Sunday School teacher, Meals on Wheels team leader, and member of the Board of Trustees.
After her mother, a Stephen Minister, died of cancer at 73, Beth was called to become involved with Pastoral Care. She was trained and certified as a Stephen Minister in 2012 and has been a Stephen Leader at our Church since 2015. Having been her father’s primary caregiver during his late stages of Alzheimer’s, Beth became passionate about elder care. She volunteers with her dog Scout to provide pet therapy to residents of Waveny Care Center, and she enjoys developing strong relationships with our church’s senior members.
During her faith journey, God has revealed himself to Beth through people and nature; these life experiences have inspired her to offer empathetic, Christ-centered care and support to others in need. Beth’s favorite Bible verses are Romans 5:3-5 and Romans 8:38-39.
