Chief Administrative Officer
Are you a
dynamic and successful leader ready to apply your knowledge and skills
passionately in a new direction? The Congregational Church of New Canaan has
created a new leadership role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The CAO
will be responsible for all business services of the Church including human
resource management, financial management, facilities management,
communications, information technology and program administrative support
oversight. The CAO will provide day-to-day leadership and direction in all
aspects of Church operations while consistently demonstrating behavior that
fosters the Church's vision and its aspirations to be a welcoming haven of

Qualifications:
A successful
candidate for the CAO role shall demonstrate the following skills and
experience:
•
Demonstrate capacity to lead, manage, motivate and inspire the Church’s team
• Possess
strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Sound
verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Basic work
productivity skills; proficient in personal computer tools i.e., calendar,
e-mail,
Internet search, document processing. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of
tools a must.
• Good
personal interaction skills.
•
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, stamina and passion.
• Experience
in a non-profit management/leadership position is desirable but not required.
• Experience
in marketing, communications, and public relations activities is desirable but
not
required.
• Have
completed at least 10+ years in a supervisory position of at least 5 people.

Director of
Service Ministries
The Congregational Church of New Canaan seeks
a dynamic and charismatic leader for the church’s missions and outreach
programs. The Director of Service Ministries is responsible for
contributing to the vision of service as a transformational experience through
the development and/or identification of services opportunities that span the
demographic needs of the congregation’s members, including local opportunities
and destination mission trips for adults and youth. For immediate consideration

Qualifications:
A successful candidate for the Director of
Service Ministries role shall demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Possess budgeting and financial tracking skills;

Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
·
Basic work productivity skills – proficient in personal computer tools –
calendar, email, Internet
search, document processing. Knowledge of Microsoft
Office suite of tools a must

Good personal interaction skills
·
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, stamina and passion.
·
Experience in a non-profit service oriented position is desirable but not
required
